SADDLECO HIRES JOHN NEUGENT AS PRESIDENT, COO
San Francisco, California, August 5, 2002

SaddleCo today announced that it has hired John Neugent as President and COO. Mr. Neugent, who was previously President of Sachs Bicycle Components and VP of Sales and Marketing for leading saddle manufacturer Trico Sports, joins the company effective immediately. In this capacity, Mr. Neugent will oversee all sales, marketing, and operations activities for the company.

Mr. Neugent has over 25 years of bicycle industry experience, and is highly regarded within the business. In addition to the positions above, Mr. Neugent was Marketing Consultant to Lee Iacocca at EV Global, and has owned a bike shop, been a road rep, a product manager, a VP of Purchasing, and a VP of Marketing for a large national distributor.
